Black History Month February 1 - March 1

From February 1 - March 1, Enumclaw School District honors Black History Month. It coincides with Frederick Douglas and Abraham Lincoln's birthdays - both symbolizing freedom.

Black History Month is a time to reflect on the contributions, achievements, and sacrifices of African Americans and is celebrated in both the United States and Canada. Celebrate all month long by learning more at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, HISTORY, The Library of Congress, and National Geographic.
