TRANSPORTATION

Enumclaw School District provides bus transportation to and from schools, for field trips, and extracurricular activities. Our staff and bus drivers are dedicated to ensuring student safety and providing efficient service for all families.  We participate in annual bus inspections conducted by the Washington State Patrol and we are proud of our exemplary safety record.

Riding the school bus is a privilege that may be denied to any student who does not demonstrate acceptable behavior. Bus rules are given to students at the beginning of the school year, and included on this website.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD AT THE BUS STOP 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP TIME.

Parents are reminded that for safety purposes, students are to ride the regularly assigned bus at all times unless permission has been granted by school authorities.

Per the McKinney-Vento Act, Enumclaw School District is required to provide homeless children access to educational services and opportunities to enroll in, attend, and be successful in school. Please read the qualifications for additional information, or contact our McKinney-Vento Homeless liaison, Carolyne Zieske at 360.802.7104.

BUS SCHEDULES FOR EARLY RELEASE FRIDAYS

Enumclaw School District now has early release Fridays. There will be a 75 minute early dismissal district wide each Friday for the purpose of staff collaboration in implementing Professional Learning Communities.

ALL students arrive home one hour and 15 minutes earlier on Fridays. For additional information, contact the Transportation department at 360.802.7232.

STUDENT DISCIPLINE

Discipline procedures are designed to ensure every student has safe transportation to and from school and school-sponsored activities. Violations of the rules on a bus, at a bus stop, or loading area may be sufficient reason to discontinue bus transportation privileges.
